Since the 1950's Jielde has been making these lamps based on the original French workshop design.
This one can clamp onto many things if there is the right surface,tables,stools or certain shelves.It has two arms and has been rewired with a plug to suit Australasian sockets.
Each arm is approximately 400mm long.
