A piece of vintage European Grainsack fabric,this piece is 1 metre in length we've allowed another 100mm for hems,520mm wide.
The fabric was made on a loom and is fairly crude so expect stray threads,irregular edges,tones and lumpy bits.

The base tone is a bit warmer in real life than the pictures.

It is a heavy flax/linen so may not be suitable for domestic sewing machines,back in the day they were hemmed by hand.
Useful for a table runner,making cushions,tote bags or many other things.
It has been cut straight although the weave moves a lot,it can be gently manipulated back straight.
Stored in a large roll for many decades it will have some colour imperfections.
It will need hemming if you are going to wash it and we can't guarantee how it will wash,colours may bleed so only cold water is recommended.
Red dyes are sometimes unpredictable so if you are making cushions it probably isn't good on white couches or chairs.
