The little letters are from a foundry,made of a composite material,a few are metal,they are attached to a piece of textured book cover and framed for protection and easy hanging.
The letters are scruffy looking,they would have been designed to make a mould for metal versions and then cleaned up.
Approximately 120mm x 140mm there are irregularities,a nice one of a kind piece.
