A hand cut paper silhouette of a woman spinning wool, this was from a collection of Agnes Williams' Cuttings dated 1850,it is in an old photo negative frame.
It isn't glued down so you can see the reverse has the pencil drawing of the image,it's mainly cut from one piece of paper with a small piece added between the spinning wheel and pedal.
The frame is crude at the back and it's important not to undo it as nothing is fixed down including the glass although the braces hold it all together firmly.
Approximately 150mm high x 125mm wide, all parts are old so there are marks, spots and irregularities,a lovely original piece.
The envelope with Agnes Williams not included.
Goods can be picked up from the shop after level 4,just use the code localcollection before checking out and you won’t be charged shipping.
